Marcel Sternberger took many photographs of Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera, capturing unguarded moments of the famous couple at their home, La Casa Azul, now a museum. While both Frida and Diego were renowned for their self-portraits, Sternberger produced some of the most revealing images of the couple. In this image, the artists share a relaxed moment in their study with their much-doted-upon Xoloitzcuintle.

All photographs are limited edition gelatin silver, numbered on the verso, and sealed with a stamp of authenticity. Photographs are sold unframed and printed from the original negative 2017 to the present.
